Which do you think have had the greater effect of changing peoples lives? TV Shows or Movies?

And why?
I've heard that people quit their boring jobs and started going for
their dream job after watching Dead Poets Society... Seize the Day!
I'm sure there are loads more examples that change peoples lives in
small to major ways.. Which has had more impact?
