Anybody remember that old puppet show (they were ugly and scary) in the 80's that was made for adults?

I think it was made for adults because i remember my mother wouldnt
let me watch it. I think my father liked it. I remember seeing a
puppet couple. They were old and talking to each other in bed.

They were so ugly and scary looking.
