I can partly remember a video to a song but have no idea who it is by or what it is called?

I think it's from the 80s involving a stop-motion technique. I
remember there being a toy model, kind of like Lego (but definately
not Lego!) of a man who looked like a builder who was walking around
smashing things. I always thought it was the infamous Sledgehammer -
Peter Gabriel song but it isn't and I've been racking my brains for
days now. Any suggestions with or with possible videos would be a
great help!
